We would like to extend a warm welcome to you and to recognize the courage it has taken to reach out to us and to ask for support; we know this is not an easy call to make. We would like to offer the following information to let you know a little more about who we are and to support you to be a little more prepared when you attend for your first time.
Pacific Centre Family Services is a non-profit counselling agency. In 2018 we will be celebrating 50 years of providing support to residents of the Greater Victoria area, primarily the Westshore and Sooke regions. We acknowledge the L’Kwungen speaking people, the Scia’new Nation and T’Sou-ke Nation, on whose unceded traditional territories our work and activities take place. Our programs are offered in Colwood and Sooke.

WHERE WE ARE LOCATED:
For services in the Westshore you can find us at 345 Wale Rd.: https://goo.gl/maps/ntM2tgEbnaE2
For services in Sooke you can find us at 6672 Wadams Way: https://goo.gl/maps/C2BWMCZrCq52
We are moving Fall 2017!! Stay tuned for our move in date, our Westshore services will be moving a short distance from where we are now to 324 Goldstream Ave.: https://goo.gl/maps/5bqQkXNdFDN2

PARKING AT OUR WALE RD. LOCATION:
We recognize that parking at our Wale Rd. location can be problematic so would like to offer some preparation before you attend the building. You may use unmarked or visitor parking spots, but please do not park in a “RESERVED” spot or along curbs painted yellow or red, as you risk being towed. When you enter the building, you will need to sign your vehicle in at the main reception area (make, model, and license plate number).
Should you arrive and find there is no parking available, turn right out of the exit of the parking lot, continue just past the entrance where you can make a left turn onto Wilfert Rd. There is street parking just down the hill along Wilfert Rd. on both sides, as well as on one side of Nob Hill Rd. (left off of Wilfert Rd.) We apologize for the inconvenience and are aware that this is less than ideal.

COMING BY BUS
Bus #50 stops on Goldstream near Wale Rd. From there it is a 0.1km walk to 345 Wale Rd.
Bus #61 stops at Sooke Rd. near Townsend Rd. From there it is a 0.5km walk to 6672 Wadams Way.

FINDING US IN THE BUILDING

Wale Rd. location – We are located on the second floor of the building. Upon entering the building you will find both an elevator and a staircase that will take you to the second floor. Once on the second floor, continue walking to the end of the corridor, past the washrooms and you will see our door directly at the end of the hall opposite the elevator/top of the stairs. If you are attending within the hours of 9am-4:20pm please check in with our receptionist and they will inform your counsellor that you have arrived. Please help us maintain a quiet, peaceful experience in our reception area by being mindful of using a soft tone of voice and attending to any personal phone calls outside of the reception area. The door is locked over the lunch hour and after 4:20pm in which case your counsellor will specify where they will meet you, most likely on the green stools beside the water fountain which you will pass in the corridor on the way to our reception.

Sooke location – This building is only one story and our counselling offices are located at the opposite end of the building from the main entrance. Once you have checked in at the main reception beside the main entrance, you can find seating at the far end of the building, near the back entrance/exit. Your counsellor will come out to find you and invite you into the counselling area for the time of your scheduled appointment.

SCENT FREE POLICY
Please be aware that with growing issues of allergy and sensitivity to scent, we have established a scent free policy. It would be much appreciated if you would please refrain from applying scented products before attending your appointment.

If there are any questions you have that have yet to be answered, please do not hesitate to contact us either through our main reception at 250-478-8357 or our intake number at 250-391-4321. Please note as our Wale Rd. offices will be moving to our new building on Goldstream Ave. in Fall 2017, our central intake phone number may change. If you are unable to reach us via the central intake number in the Fall please contact us at our main reception number, 250-478-8357.
