- Subsidized Rides to healthcare appointments, shopping, and social outings
- In Classroom Driving Refreshers – registration is required
- Training & Support for navigating transportation apps like Uber, ride shares, and local transit systems
Who is Eligible?
Services are available to participants in our Better at Home program and to other seniors aged 65 and older, particularly those living in underserved communities, including Colwood, Langford, Metchosin, Sooke, Highlands, Scia’new First Nation, Pacheedaht First Nation, and T’Sou-ke First Nation. Priority is given to seniors with low to modest incomes, low to moderate frailty, or who experience social isolation, as well as those from underserved groups such as Indigenous Elders, immigrants, 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, caregivers, and persons with disabilities.
