Substance Use

This program provides assessment, counselling and referrals for adults who use substances in a problematic way and for those individuals who are affected by others’ alcohol or drug use. It is a community based, free, open access counselling service for individuals who reside between Port Renfrew and the West Shore. Services are offered at both our Colwood and Sooke locations. Learn more

Stopping the Violence

Stopping the Violence offers free, specialized individual and group counselling for women or trans-persons who have experienced abuse or violence in their intimate adult relationships, or who have experienced childhood sexual abuse. Counselling is informed by a feminist perspective. Individual counselling is available for people living in the West Shore. Ongoing evening group counselling by referral from across the CRD. Safer Families - Family Violence Program

The Safer Families – Family Violence Program offers individual and group counselling to persons using abuse or violence in intimate partner relationships. Participants in this program are usually not engaged in the criminal justice system. To increase safety, services are also available for affected partners. There is no fee for group services. Fees may apply to private referrals for individual counselling. Learn more
