Coldest Night of the Year 2024

For the fifth year in a row, Pacific Centre Family Services Association and Our Place Society have partnered to put on the Victoria Westshore Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) campaign. The CNOY is a national, family-friendly winteriffic charity walk that raises awareness of the hungry, homeless, and hurting members of our community and helps fundraise for community agencies directly working with those populations.

Our CNOY – Victoria Westshore walk will be held on Saturday, February 24th, 2024. The backbone of the event is community participation. By putting a team into the event and fundraising, you will make a difference in the lives of so many members of our community. We would be honoured if you would join us. This year, we are pleased to offer both virtual and in-person options for our 2km and 5km walks to ensure the comfort and safety of all participants. As mentioned, this is a National event so those team members who are not located in Victoria can still participate.

The money raised will be going right back into our support programs. Pacific Centre Family Services Association will be directing the funds back into our core programs to reduce wait times that continue to grow as a result of rapid population growth in our community.  At Our Place, the money will go to therapies for the residents of our New Roads Therapeutic Recovery Community. Located in Victoria’s WestShore, New Roads provides long-term addiction treatment and recovery programming for low-income and homeless members of our community.
