Counselling & Social Services

PCFSA provides a range of counselling and social services for residents across South Vancouver Island. These include work with isolated seniors, individuals addressing family violence, youth outreach and email counselling, youth gang and exploitation prevention and intervention, family and couples counselling, counselling to address substance use, mental health counselling, and trauma therapy.

Community Health Centre – Medical Services

The Westshore Community Health Centre (WSCHC) is a new multidisciplinary primary care centre operated by Pacific Centre Family Services Association (PCFSA) which is designed to bring low-barrier, trauma-informed coordinated healthcare to the underserved populations of the Westshore and their families.

About PCFSA

Welcome to Pacific Centre Family Services Association, where we encourage possibilities. We are a non-profit registered charitable organization that, in 2022, celebrated 54 years of supporting residents of Southern Vancouver Island.

We recognize the courage it has taken to reach out to us and to ask for support; we know this is not an easy call to make.

Communities We Serve

Though the Westshore and Sooke communities are our focus, with program locations in Colwood, Langford, and Sooke, some of our programs serve residents throughout South Vancouver Island.

We acknowledge the L’Kwungen speaking people, the Scia’new Nation and T’Sou-ke Nation, on whose unceded traditional territories our work and activities take place.

  • Our main location in Colwood is located at Suite 200 – 324 Goldstream Avenue (2nd floor).
  • For services in Sooke, you can find us at 6672 Wadams Way. (By appointment only)
  • For services in Langford, you can find us at 211 – 2840 Peatt Road (By appointment only)

Visiting by Vehicle and Parking

Above ground visitor parking is located directly behind the Centre for Wellbeing on Goldstream Avenue. Turn into the driveway on the west side of the building (next to the apartment buildings). From there, take the stairs or elevator to the second floor (top floor).

Once in the stairwell there are several signs providing direction to PCFSA (CHC and Counselling and Social Services). Follow the arrows and signage.

***Please note underground parking is for staff parking only.

***Parking is limited so we encourage you to take the bus or give yourself extra time to find street parking.

Visiting by Bus (follow the arrows and signage)

  • Sooke location: Bus #61 stops at Sooke Road near Townsend Road. From there it’s a 500m walk to 6672 Wadams Way.
  • Westshore location: Bus #50 stops on Goldstream Avenue, right outside the Centre for Wellbeing.

We are located on the 2nd floor of the Centre for Wellbeing, when approaching the building from the front on Goldstream Ave. please walk directly to the back of the building through the breezeway and we are the last door on the left.  You can take the stairs or elevator to the 2nd floor (top floor).

Creating an Environment for All

  • Noise level: Please help us maintain a quiet, peaceful experience by being mindful of using a soft tone of voice and attending to any personal phone calls outside the reception area.
  • Scent free policy: Please be aware that with growing issues of allergy and sensitivity to scent, we have established a scent free policy. Staff, participants and visitors are encouraged to refrain from using scented products before or during their time with PCFSA.
  • Illness: PCFSA staff, participants and visitors are encouraged to take care when experiencing illness. If you are experiencing flu, stomach virus or other contagious symptoms, we appreciate you rescheduling your appointment.
