PCFSA is seeking a CEO
This is an exciting time for Pacific Centre Family Services (PCFSA)!
As an organization, it is growing and expanding with the opening of the
new Centre for Wellbeing in Colwood, and the recent addition of the
Pacific Centre Family Services Foundation.
As a dynamic and
vibrant organization, PCFSA is adding to its leadership team with the
newly formed role of CEO. The mandate of this leadership position is to
focus on the external relationships of PCFSA and the Foundation while
also guiding the PCFSA management team, lead by the Executive Director,
in the fulfillment of PCFSA’s programs and services. As a team, these
positions are working collaboratively to serve the West Shore.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the leader of the organization,
establishing a vision for PCFSA that is achieved through the efforts of a
diverse team of high-performing leaders, staff and volunteers. The CEO
leverages the power of relationships and networks, and works across
private, public and corporate sectors to improve conditions in the
The CEO possesses a high level of broad
business and management skills, and is effective at generating resources
and financial support for PCFSA. The CEO is the steward of the PCFSA
brand, and understands their role in growing and protecting the
reputation of the organization. The CEO is responsible for building
trust in, and commitment to, the organization’s relevance in the
community and all government levels. The CEO values networks, and
strives to leverage PCFSA’s breadth of community presence,
relationships, and strategy.
Undergraduate degree required; training, experience or advanced degree
preferred in business, public administration, or not for profit
· 10+ years experience in a senior strategic
leadership position required, or an equivalent combination of education
· A demonstrable passion for the mission, vision, and values of PCFSA and PCFSF.
· Substantial experience working in the not for profit sector and interacting with volunteers and diverse boards.
· Experience in building both grant revenue and increasing philanthropic support.
