Message from the Board-Congratulations Mitzi Dean

You are here

The Board of Directors of Pacific Centre Family Services Association
congratulates Mitzi Dean on her recent election to the Legislative
Assembly of British Columbia as the MLA for Esquimalt - Metchosin! We
look forward to hearing of her contributions over the next four years on
behalf of the residents of the south island and British Columbia! The
Board welcomes the opportunity to join with the Staff in the near future
to say a formal 'Merci/Good Bye/Bonne Chance!'.

The position of Executive Director is the priority of the Board of
Directors on behalf of the PCFSA Family in the coming months. PCFSA will
continue to be guided by the Acting ED, Deborah Wilson, in the busy
period ahead. The Board continues to also plan for the opening of 324
Goldstream Avenue this fall, and CARF Accreditation and the 50th
Anniversary celebration in 2018, among many other exciting initiatives
and long - term planning.

David Bennett, Chair

PCFSA Board of Directors

Better at Home is a community based model which utilises both volunteer and professional service providers. All seniors living in Langford, Colwood and Metchosin can request a Better at Home service. Better at Home provides seniors with support for simple day to day tasks and this helps them maintain their independence and stay connected with their community.
